ASAP, formerly known as ASAP to PSAP, was created to make digital dispatch of alarm events to emergency communications centers faster and more accurate.
Designed by two of the leading organizations in the public safety and alarm industry, as it was first launched in 2011 as a public-private partnership between the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) and The Monitoring Association (TMA).
This partnership made ASAP the only industry-created digital alarm service, designed by industry professionals with a deep understand of what emergency communications centers require.
